Within Resurgam Trust volunteers are highly valued and are an integral part of the development over the past number of years. Volunteers are encouraged to learn new skills that are transferrable and progress onto opportunities as a result of engagement in their field.
The Resurgam Strategy for Volunteering sums up the ethos of this: Volunteers can bring skills, expertise, time and passion to your cause. They can diversify the thinking, skills and experiences that make up your activity or services and connect your activity to the external world, and vice versa, in a way that is real, meaningful and informative. Service beneficiaries may engage with, respond to and experience volunteer-led service in a way that is different to that delivered by paid staff.

Youth Volunteers

No experience required other than an enthusiasm to make a difference in young people’s lives.
Volunteers will need to complete AccessNI checks to ensure Safeguarding standards are met.
